It's up to you to help Lily. She doesn't want to come to school anymore because she is being bullied. "Helping Lily" examines schoolyard bullying, explores its many forms - and looks at the consequences.
Designed to be read in a shared classroom environment or at home, "Helping Lily" gives teachers and parents the opportunity to talk openly with children about bullying, discuss strategies for dealing with it and, hopefully, guide them towards the development of empathy for its victims.
In this second of our series of zigzag storyapps, Miss Moffatt again demonstrates her caring nature as she guides you towards solutions to Lily's problems, while Pepe, the classroom's pet fish, leaves the reader in no doubt as to whether or not he approves of your actions. Just as in "Miss Moffatt's Ring", readers can explore seven different outcomes to this story.

Part of the struggle for an adult is awakening empathy in young children. For a child who has never been bullied, it is difficult to empathise with the isolation and fear that bullying can cause.
"Helping Lily" allows a child to enter into Lily's world; a world where bullying is a reality.
